The management of this park is uneducated to disc golf. Simple as that. Ignorant people do ignorant things. Alienating the largest population of disc golfers in the U.P. is ignorant. The tee pad design is ignorant. Their misuse of donated funds is criminal now they've shut it down for the winter and made it pay to play. That is not what the donors were told would be the case.
They had no idea what kind of use the course would get or how it would effect the land. Remind you these are DNR conservation officers that are in charge here. They simply didn't do the research. They were lazy. Then they explained their laziness to their superiors by blaming the disc golfers. So sad. This course has awesome potential.
