I am coming into town on the 18 of Nov. My brother just bought a house 10 min walk from here. Any leagues/tourneys going on? Or if someone wants play a casual round hit me up. Excited to see what Colorado has to offer.
RIP Old Johnny Roberts. :( The new redesign is safer for all park goers but isn't much more than a pitch and putt now. If you really want to experience the best of Colorado DG get to the mountains.
RIP Colorado Heights as well, that was the best one in Denver. Echo what Bo said above. The best course nearby Denver is Camenish Park, but if possible definitely make the trek out to Conifer. I would call/research ahead, they get a lot of snow in them mountains (it's Colorado!) and the baskets may be pulled already.
Lot's of good choices, play Johnny Roberts!! It is a fun course and a part of DG history!! There are several great places to play (the guys did a good job mentioning them) also try Centre Hills..
Looks like Camenisch Park is close by Westminster, played the old design (Badlands & Blair Witch) not the new one. East Interlocken was a fun 9 holer and close by as well. And Dave is right, Johnny is still a fun play and part of history.
For sure. I know the locals play a modified longs version as well, I think I tagged along with some people for a few of those holes and they were sweet.
This course is a snore fest. If you want to play good Colorado disc golf, go to Conifer in the mountains there are two awesome courses there

I will be sufficient while my bro is working, he can take me to the cool courses when he is off while I am there. Thanks guys!

I forgot about Expo Park, that one is nearby free and pretty fun to play, open bomber course. Check that out
Cool, I will be in Westminster. I have to figure out how far it is from these places.

Good stuff, thanks for your feedback everyone. Now I just have to hope I get some decent weather while I am there.
