Just a quick PSA to anyone playing Grand Woods in the near future there are disc thieves lurking around grand woods so keep your eyes down the fairway after you've thrown, especially on the blind holes. I was playing a fun casual round last night with a group of 7 including myself when I had a disc stolen off the fairway on hole 15. It's most like gone but just in case someone happens to see it, the disc was a neon dayglo green Star Teebird, name and number on the inside rim and my pdga # on the bottom flight plate.
I'm don't like accusing anyone, or assuming anything, but I have noticed a group of 2 or 3 teenage boys out diving for discs lately. They had quite the collection the other day when I was on 6. They ride bicycles as well, so that would be a nice getaway. Not sure if it's them, but keep an eye out just in case.
normally I'm not one to accuse people right away either, but after it landed i thought i saw someone walking around where it landed so i ran up and no one was there and the disc was still where it landed so i went back to the tee. Someone in my group a min or so later saw someone again walk by ... more

Someone in my group a min or so later saw someone again walk by and pick a disc up but she thought it was someone from the group in front of us that forgot one of their discs and didn't realize until we got up there that it was mine that was taken.
It was starting to get dark so no one got a clean look at who it was
At the end of the day its just a piece of plastic and I'll get a new one. I just wanted to warn people to keep an eye out when they throw. Only thing that blows is I've been breaking that disc in for months now and it was almost to where i wanted it lol
Yeah, but it's best to confront the problem and get rid of it before anyone else has a disc stole.
Use your phone and take pics. Not only is it good evidence, it scares crooks.
