Tried to get a round in today before the rain returned and was on hole #15 when a group of idiot knuckleheads decided to vandalize the tee sign on 16 by either kicking it or throwing the trash can at it.
Walked over to 16 and took pics of the damaged sign (Bent frame and broken plexiglass) when I heard and saw them trying to do the same to 14's sign. Scared them off and got the cops out there who were talking to the group of guys when I left. The one officer had me send him the photos.
Not cool at all.
Received a follow up from the officer that the juviniles were identified and admitted to damaging the park property. I hope that means they will have to make restitution to pay for the damages.
Good thing you were out there to catch the punks! Hopefully they will be prosecuted and pay for the damages. They still haven't caught the basterds who vandalized Painesville, as they ripped the signs out completely on a couple of holes!
Leads, yeah sure. I'll uh, just check with the boys down at the Crime Lab. They uh, got uh, four more detectives working on the case. They've got us working in shifts.
