all events on DiscGolfScene required full entry into event for waitlist. You are thinking about the non-refundable fee on Disc Golf United.

I saw on the Jim widdick tournament wait list was only $5... Is there anyway that could be implemented so I can get on intermediate wait list?
Thanks for pointing that out Luke. I verified the Waitlist on DiscGolfScene for the 2016 Jim Widdick Memorial is $5. This must be a new feature on DiscGolfScene, as we have been using this website for several years now, and it always full payment for Waitlist, no other option, so this must be new. ... more

This must be a new feature on DiscGolfScene, as we have been using this website for several years now, and it always full payment for Waitlist, no other option, so this must be new. I imagine like the other sites it will be non-refundable should you not get in. With the current full payment WL we have for 2016 Orlnado Open, if you are on the WL & don't get in you get full refund of your entry fee, minus DGScene processing fee (like $2). We woudl not be fair to change how this is setup at this point, if even possible, but we will make note to look for the $5 WL fee on our next event. The biggest advantage to the full pay WL is when someone drops, then the next is automatically promoted in, vs having to contact them and have them pay the remaining balance before getting in, giving them 24hr notice, trying to reach them, then contacting the next guy, etc... Thanks Bill, that makes sense. If I am first on wait list for intermediate would I get spot if someone from that division dropped or would that just open spot for next person on wait list regardless of division?
The Division caps keep the WL spot to that division... .so if you are WL#1 in Intermediate MA2, only if someone in Intermediate Men drops then you get in.
