Lost a Blue G-Star Boss (175 gram) on hole one of the south course. Right hand side of the fairway and probably 50 feet from the fairway. I think I made it over the crest of the hill, but after searching several times for it, I couldn't find it anywhere. Cash reward for it's safe return.
I say this about the trouble with tall grass bordering the fairways: Lobby the parks officials so that some shaping is done with the tall grass. For example: South #1 would have a wine-glass shape, South # 3 would have a wider landing zone starting around 250'-350' from tee, etc. No patch ... more

For example: South #1 would have a wine-glass shape, South # 3 would have a wider landing zone starting around 250'-350' from tee, etc. No patch of tall grass would exist in sections larger than 30' wide strips. Tournament play at Brewer is jeopardized when the grass appears to have no tactical purpose other than to add points due to time delays. I'll help make the "squeaks" if someone tells who has the "grease".
I'd like to see them do that as well. I understand the need for the rough, but man... a little less jungle-like would be great. Especially when it cost me a disc and two strokes in a tourney, but even more so for casual play. I rarely venture to the south course just because I don't want to lose a disc. Whole reason I can't stand playing at Meyer Broadway.
agreed I lost a river at meyer broadway cus thier grass problems brewer is the same they could atleast mow that stuff when its over a foot.
