Wednesday Night Lights - '14 through '15

Tonight's League
Come one, come ALL! The daylight is plentiful! Our WNLights attendance record was set earlier in the year with 28 of us showing up. Let's beat that tonight! Things to know:
- The Ace Fund is gonna be $56 + however many people show up tonight.
- I will pay out the bounties tonight after leagues. If you don't collect tonight or make arrangements for someone to collect the cash for you I will pay you in the form of prepaid leagues. If you won't be there tonight and you currently own a bounty please call or text me letting me know who will be collecting your bounty. I will not release the cash otherwise.
- We will have 3 CTP's tonight. They will be on #'s 5, 7 and 9. We need two tape measures. If you can have one there that would be great! I'll give it back right after the round.
- Since the total Ace Fund pool for what would have been a Finale is currently at $0, we will not have a Finale. Year's past I would have dipped into the club's account to handle this. Knowing where we stand financially I know dipping into the account is not the right thing to do. Instead I will handle it this way: Everyone who finishes in the Top 12 (ties included) will receive 10 points to begin the WND season. On top of that, I'll also award you 12 points if you finished 1st, 11 points if you finished 2nd, etc. So if you finish in the Top 12 you'll receive anywhere between 22-11 points without having played a WND's round. Sorry to handle it like this but I hope you'll agree that for those of you who qualified, it's better than nothing.
- April has 5 Wednesday's. It would be a shame to let those 5 weeks go to waste. That's potently $200 in the club's pocket, $120-150 for an Ace Fund and straight up good times! I'll let everyone know where we'll be next Wednesday by Sunday night.

Awarding points from one league (Wednesday Night Lights) to another league (Wednesday Night Dubs) dosent seem quite fair to those who exclusively play the latter.

Like I explained above, we would normally payout the Top 12 (invitation only playing for all the cash) for their good play and dedication to the club (which you've experienced out at Kincaid, Cas). This year was different in that EVERY ace fund was hit at the Goon. We had no money to use for a Top 12 Finale. Instead I chose to award points. The maximum points awarded will be 22. The least would be 11 points. We all know you can get 22 points back in two weeks. It's probably unlikely without help from others but it can happen. These extra points may keep a person from being the overall point winner but it shouldn't keep anyone from making the cut. But thanks for voicing your opinions. Let's go this route: I'll make a post for ONLY those who fell in the Top 12 asking what they want since they're the ones who qualified. Please be on the lookout for those results here soon. At that point we'll really know how minor of a disadvantage those who didn't attend WN Lights or those who didn't qualify have.
