Upcoming tournaments:
Ice Bowl moved to Sun. Feb. 15th to accommodate for members going to Memorial and Valentine's Day. Louie suggested we not get the players pack to save money. Looking for someone to raise funds to cover the cost of players pack and course rental.
Highest Priority:
-Create financial spreadsheet to track incoming and expenditures. This will lead to pursuing 501c3 non profit tax exempt status.
-Sign a Memorandum of Sponsorship with Hilltop for temporary 501c3 status to currently accept donations.
Who Needs Chains-- Will Harrison addressed the board about motivations and goals for Who Needs Chains (WNC), a not for profit youth outreach organization. And Adam talked about the collaboration with WNC regarding the putting league. It will not cost money from the ADGA to support. WNC simply needs members to volunteer time with youth, and to teach disc golf to any youth interested in learning the sport.
Rick expressed concern that the current putting league format does not lend to having enough youth involved. If this was adjusted to do so, he would give support in regards to Hilltop's involvement.
