I Personally know Lee does a TON for that Course and him moving the damm Baskets is just not the root of your problem... And he was at LEAST NICE enough to post the NEW LOCATIONS. I don't know too many people that would go that far and have that kind of Respect to inform other players!
Sometimes...Dru...you say the shiz that needs be said...KUDOS to you homie!!!! Every person that was playing yesterday was thankful for you moving the pins, Lee, it switched it up a bit and we had a GREAT TIME!!
And Scotty & Dru, I know that the course isn't mine. That's why I consult with the people who it does belong to. If you think you're more correct than I, please go ahead and speak to Taloali directly.
Well, good thing it's not a monumental undertaking to move the pins around...otherwise, this might be a big deal or something. <sarcasm> C'mon people, let's enjoy disc, and not make this a forum for interpersonal conflicts. I feel it's always nice to have baskets moved to ...

Well, good thing it's not a monumental undertaking to move the pins around...otherwise, this might be a big deal or something. <sarcasm> C'mon people, let's enjoy disc, and not make this a forum for interpersonal conflicts. I feel it's always nice to have baskets moved to alt positions every so often, and it's awesome to be informed when they are!! It would also be nice to be informed when they are in official tourney layout, too...like maybe some cool signage on the board, or some updated postings on the tourney/club/course profile on here. I love playing disc golf...sorry to preach...
Ha!!!! Love the name change scotty!!! Love the basket changes also. The way i understand it lee asked the camp host for the basket keys and they were granted. If that isnt going thru the powers that be then idk what is.
ya on dgs it has been posted a couple times. not 100% sure where but I know for a fact I have read it. nwdiscgolfnews I think is where its posted. it has each hole and what pin position it would be in. and with they went out last Sunday and moved all the pins to LSO position before random doubles. y ...

I know you weren't doing the doubles but that was the day all the Pins were moved to LSO spots. check out nwdiscgolfnews to read more. dgs is not the only public forum used online. a lot of good stuff is posted on nwdiscgolfnews. I love that most holes at taloali have alternate placements and agree the course got boring because it was the something all the time. just bad timing is all. I'm in favor for pins being moved regularly. just think it could have waited until after LSO is all.
it is not posted on here and I'm not looking at ten different web sights to find it its not on here at lease Lee told and posed very clearly wha the lay out was do u see it posed for the LSO on discgolfsecene.com nope u dont

My 2Cents worth is the more important question at this time is basket 7 going to be replaced by tourney time? If not I could possibly loan my Bentley basket out for the weekend if wanted or needed. Also feel layout should not be that big of issue, should be able to play any variation and with 2 day, 3 round tourney would be nice to show off and use all variations to test players skills. Just my thoughts on whole thing. Thanks
No matter what you do, good bad indiferent, somebody gonna bi-tch, its human nature, its why nothing changes in America anymore, its why our govt. is a joke
it says this on nwdgnews: "Nothing radical on the layout. Same layout all 3 rounds. Tentatively, it will look like this:", then has some suggestions from forum-goers, then I see Steve says: "It's still not 100% confirmed." and that was on 4/3. So...what is the BIG DEAL about all this, again..? Everybody needs to take off their stickerbritches and huk some plastic.
^^^True^^^ But when you drive an hour one way to practice a layout and the whole course is different, I can see why someone would be upset. The impression of tentative was minor changes on one or two holes. Not 15 holes.
Now, if those dudes were Open players, and they were gonna be sittin in the money, or if their sole goal is to qualify for something bigger, or if their ratings were dependant on them hitting every birdie...I would understand. But if that's not the case, then they are just ****ing to ****. And ...

And, I think that the tourney director saying this (a couple lines up): "Also feel layout should not be that big of issue, should be able to play any variation and with 2 day, 3 round tourney would be nice to show off and use all variations to test players skills." would just about put to rest this whole issue.
I'm not a big fan of drama in disc, but I know it exists...and I've heard there's some beef between those two. I can honestly say that there was no mention of any of that as the reasonings for moving them. I heard that they had been in the same pos for a while, and that the previous ...

I'm not a big fan of drama in disc, but I know it exists...and I've heard there's some beef between those two. I can honestly say that there was no mention of any of that as the reasonings for moving them. I heard that they had been in the same pos for a while, and that the previous key holder had stepped away from the task, and hadn't changed them in a while. I even noticed that cutting the locks was mentioned on a previous post. So, based on that, I figured the course was ripe for some changes. I will say again, no mention, whatsoever, was made about the beef between Lee and Steve when baskets were moved.
Steve Moore wrote that post ronin. not Steve Winslow. so the tourney director didn't write that. haha fair mistake. both named Steve. is Nikko here already? I'm trying to get a fly life sponsership.
Just to clarify, I am not the TD for this in any way, that is Steve Winslow. Two totally different people. This is to clarify Ronin comment couple statements up. I still stand by my statement though as I wrote it. If you are good enough, should be able to play any variation, even if in same weekend tourney
Besides I am still trying to find where Steve Winslow had posted his layout, I did see I believe at one time it was posted somewhere but can no longer find it, did he remove it?
Ahhh...oops...Sorry about that...lol! Steve's taking over the world! Or would that be Steves'...? I agree, Moore, if you're good enough to play for money, it won't matter what position pins are in. I, personally, love it when there is some variation between rounds in tourneys...although I've only played in a handful or so. Holy shyte this thread is long!
I also would be interested as to which pro(s) had a compaint about this. Is there anything PDGA wise that states a course must be in tourney layout prederemined amount of time before event? Also anything PDGA wise about layout can or cannot be modified between rounds? What is general rule of them about this and based on what standard? Thank you
Unfortunately none of your opinions about the layout matter. There was obviously some miscommunication/lack of communication between some individuals, it is what it is. OH MY ROD! let me make it clear. i had NO idea the course was in the lso layout! none at all, never even thaught about that! although my dis-like for winslow is great i could and would never sabatage a toureny... for i am a discgolfer... with more mutual respect than most!
i like how the baskets get moved and every one gets mad and all pissed at Lee but when James had the keys and nothing hot moved forever nothing was said hunmm pretty messed up if ya ask me I like that u moved them Lee way to go

No one wants you to move those baskets Lee. Please stop.
typical douche baggery from your dumb ass WINSLOW! please stop!
i played with a few friends who helped me move baskets and infact some of the pin placements they have never seen in the alt sleeve.

Unless the map is made up for the Liquid Sunshine, the variety is nice :)
I moved the baskets into the LSO tournament layout last weekend with CCDG and Camp Taloali's approval.
Then Lee I guess it's time to move them back :( haha at least you got one day with them in that layout

super dope layout!! thanks for moving em Lee,a nice change of pace!!

I played with two LSO registered players yesterday and they were pretty pissed the pin postions were not in the LSO positions as posted on NWDGNews

Steve Moore, I don't know if Steven contacted you, but the basket situation is fine. Thanks for the concern and offer.
This situation was resolved with Taloali. I really should apologize for putting anything on Disc Golf Drama Scene.

4/12 i moved the baskets back to the LSO layout for those whinning ****es!
at pro level i would think the pin position would not matter, just playing the couse should be enough!
