Some people are shocked by my throwing style when they finally realize I don't put a finger inside the rim. I use a pinch grip that only a few can throw with any kind of control. I don't have the distance of the longer players but when the conditions are right for me, I can control the path of the disc very well. The downside of this type of grip is that temperature, humidity or moisture can cause the disc to slip out too early and completely ruin your day.
