it is a tournament run by a retail store he has to charge sales tax. you pay A3 sales tax the difference is we roll it into the price to make round numbers he does not. other then that we are glad you had a good time.

Sorry guys he may do that next time but it was the stores first event the guy you have the money was the event accountant something most tournaments just don't have... I hear ya but he is a business if you knew all the hops he jumped through to make this work for player packs/gift card for a club that's easy to the IRS with a business event it's A Lot harder big thx for him finally trying it he has wanted to since last year but the paperwork scared the crap out of him, he but the bullet and from my stand point for a guy who has never organized one before it was a great event he really did do his best to make everyone happy as he could
