Wayne started off with a couple of birds on one and two that only stoked Jackson into action for the rest of the round. Hitting some really long and accurate drives, Sammy caught up and had the lead by a stroke at the turn with Brad only two strokes behind that.
The wheels fell of the Russell wagon on eleven and twelve with two bogeys and finally a par on the light and lofty seventeen.
Altone was within a stroke of Jackson by fifteen and they both twinned out the rest of the holes to end a stroke apart.
Round two is in the books and while Sammy has maintained the lead, Brad has stepped up and provided a challenge.
Finishing his first round at eleven under, Brad is only two strokes behind Sammy’s first round of thirteen under as they head into the third round next Wednesday.
