Last time i was out there, they grabbed my buddy, dragged him into the ravine, beat him senseless with large branches, ripped off an arm and carried it away for food for the family back home. Good thing it was his left arm.
Bugs are not bad my advice would be to wear long pants and put on some bug spray......I shoot at Willow 2 or 3 times a week and I would rate them at a 4 or 5 out of 10........if you have bug spray on they are not that bad...
In all honesty, I've never seen the mosquitos here in such epic proportions as they are often described. They still manage to get to you even though you've got OFF and Cutter, but they're not swarming around in clouds these days.
At Willow, it is best to assume they are armed and prepared to kick your A$$. Bring bug spray and perhaps a bat. Throw well.
You'll need bug spray, but they aren't intolerable. They are worst between holes 7-12. Overall, not bad enough that you can't enjoy a round.
last time I was out there they tried sucking blood from my bag, discs, whatever.

What Nate said. I got bit 3 or 4 times despite heavy bug spray and a little bit of deet last week.
