Got out to try this course last weekend. Big course, needs some attention. Really disappointed with the help at this course. They were really clueless about disc golf, ball golf for that matter. Maybe it was just very early in the season. A bunch of ball golfers, we were the only disc golfers on the course. Rented a cart, cost of 20 each for greens fee and a cart. I live a long way from here. Maybe 18 bike type orange pennet flags at each tee would help. A good map and some sort of tee marker with distance and hole direction. Had a great time, hope this summer will improve this course.

Tee signs are coming soon. Flags will not be part of them though as we do not wish to distract the ball golfers with our game. Less is more in this situation. There are maps with distances both here and in their clubhouse: http://www.discgolfscene.com/courses/Sunnybrook_MI/Hole_1/50098 Thanks for the feedback. This will be their 1st season since the permanent course was installed last fall. Be sure to call ahead and make sure they have tee times available.
John beat me to lots of the points. there is a Map on the score card that isn't hard to follow...did you look for it? there are some flags out there but some have been run over I think from maintenance. the course is extremely well taken care of since it is a ball golf course. just remember, ma ... more

Both John and Brandon are right. Many of the golfers out there are curious of our game and respect when we are playing. But some have not, I was out there recently last week and a couple of golfer wouldn't get out of my line of my shot a couple of time, so I would have to wait for them which is no problem. But both John and Brandon are right they are not use to our game yet. And John I can't wait for tee signs with distances and all, it would help for the other players who don't come and play this course that often. And will we maybe see tee pads, or are they going to stay the same and be the natural tee's as well as the fly pads.?
Thanks for the feedback guys. I do not want to leave the impression that I found the experience bad in any way. I was just relaying my experience. Thanks for the feedback guys. I do not want to leave the impression that I found the experience bad in any way. I was just relaying my experience. I did a ton of positive PR while both on the course and in the establishment. Including some chances to let ball golfers toss a couple discs. Really went out of my way in the pro shop, restaurant, bowling alley and bar to talk up the course and experience. I think the challenge of this type of course is great and also really want to see it succeed. I am a ball golfer as well and I agree that attention to ball golf etiquette is going to be paramount to the ultimate success of this disc golf course. I was give a Xerox copy of a disc golf map, very difficult to read. The ball holes were kind of undefined, when cross referenced with the ball scorecard it helped. I saw no disc scorecard, nor was offered one. The course is well thought out and very playable, we had a blast. Navigation was one of the only downsides, maps would have helped. I found the idea of the hole numbers not matching the ball course number extrememly difficult. The trip out there on Friday morning was pretty last minute, otherwise we would have likely give a shout out to hook up with some locals. Next time. I look forward to getting out and playing this course this summer. Thanks for the work guys.
by all means give me a shout if you know a couple days in advance...i"ll gladly throw with ya
