I brought it up to Mick, in July we want to hold a disc golf poker run, which will include 5 courses Sidney, Sterling, Brush, Ft. Morgan, and Wiggins. We are looking at starting in Sidney. We may need some help on this one.
Ft. Collins and Cheyenne have a tournament they call Border Wars, where the guys from Collins take on the guys from Cheyenne. I think something like this would be really cool, we could hold the first one in Sidney and next year Sterling or vice versa.
Those both sound like excellent ideas. You can most likely count us in for the Poker Run, we'll do what we can. As for border wars... You're going down sir!!! Once I get my club trained up a bit that is. We could make a two weekend event as well, one up here, one down there, that way the home-turf advantage is balanced.

Just received confirmation that the premium disc will be the Patriot in Icon plastic. Unsure what the other one will be. They run it a little different than Discraft, but I am happy getting two different discs.
THis will be my first Ace Run never played an Ace Race either yet.
They are pretty laid back and really, it's anyones game. Last fall, the woman that won, had only played one game prior.

Are any of you guys coming to practice Pioneer Park this weekend..? We are planning on a trip to Sidney to practice on sunday the 14th...
Actually I think we are planning on coming up on the 13th. Sure we can coordinate for both days so we can meet up if you would like. We are having a meet and greet at Deer Run tomorrow afternoon. Just a little clinic to get everyone out and throwing.
ok sounds good we are doing a free disc golf mini clinic open to the public on the 13th at 2pm. we would like to throw a round early for sure.
Our calendar has us at Pioneer Park by 1pm for a round.
And we will gladly meet you at Deer Run the following day.

Hey just registered for the birdie bash and the spring fling. Though I might need to bump up to the advanced level. Regardless, should be a good time. Can't wait.
I got the confirmation email for both events you registered for today on the course. For sure you can change your division before the players meeting the day of the event.
