Warner Park Project Update.

As you may already know, a presentation was given to the City of Manhattan Parks & Recreation Advisory Board (Nov. 5th) regarding adding onto the existing 9 hole Warner Park Disc Golf Course to make it an 18 hole course. It was a great presentation and was well received by the Parks Board. Due to time restraints, the subject was tabled until this Monday’s December meeting (Dec. 3rd). http://www.ci.manhattan.ks.us/index.aspx?NID=474

The strong showing of disc golf supporters at the November meeting certainly made an impact. As an example, the board chairperson welcomed us while smiling and saying “We have a large audience today. More than I think I have ever seen here. I understand it has to do with disc golf.” With that in mind, it would be wise to once again have a strong showing at the next meeting. It would be even better if we could have MORE in attendance than last month. Please attend if you can.

Here’s the Meeting Details:
