2012 Sunnybrook Spring Fling Disc Golf Tournament...

The Motor City Chain Gang proudly presents the 2012 Sunnybrook Spring Fling
Here are some of the details as the event nears:
What: 11th Annual Sunnybrook Spring Fling
Where: Sunnybrook Golf & Bowl, 7191 East 17 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48313
When: Saturday & Sunday, April 28 - 29, 2012
Times: Registration 8 am - 9 am, players meeting immediately following
Fields are limited to 80 players per day
Pro C / AM B Tier PDGA Event
$150 added to Open Purse
Minimum $1000 Merchandise and Trophies Added
Carts included in your entry fee

We plan to have the course open for practice on Friday, April 27, 2012

The normal Course layout:
1. 800' Throwing directly north down the 1st fairway. Mando left off tee box.
2. 810' Throwing directly north down the 2nd fairway
3. 500' sunken teebox (old sand trap) and a steep drop off past the basket
4. 780' / 420' (AM) Pro tee on a bridge. Water left 1st shot, water right 2nd shot
5. 530' / 330' (AM) Basket set on the edge of a VERY reachable pond. Don't be short!
6. 222' Ace shot - Basket in the center of 3 pines
7. 812' / 550' (AM) Basket perched on a hillside. OB left. 2nd shot can get wet.
8. 250' Righty Anhyzer in the woods. Don't be left.
9. 1020' Second shot water hazard stream, basket on top of a hill by Van Dyke.
10. 675' Throwing from a tee box by Van Dyke over water.
11. 550' Basket sandwiched in between 2 trees/
12. 506' Triple Mando 400' off the tee. Uphill into the wind. Mando between 2 trees under banner.
13. 1300' / 500' (AM) Signature hole. Can get wet on 2nd shot.
14. 335' Basket on a tree stump at least 7' high. Need to be on right side of basket.
15. 350' Basket perched on the edge of a pond. Don't be short.
16. 350' Basket in between 2 trees.
17. 385' Basket in a low spot between two OB greens, one in front and one behind.
18. 1000' Basket on a raised brick platform...
TOTAL: 11,175'

And you get to drive golf carts!
