If you haven't heard, we have 3 berths for the 2011 Michigan State Championship. The berths will be awarded based on points. The last round that points will count toward berths will be July 27th.
The following week, on August 3rd, the golfer with the most points will be awarded a berth. The next 6 golfers will random draw for teams and play a 9-hole round after the league round. The members of the winning team each get a berth. In the event of a tie the teams will play sudden death holes until there is a winner.
If there is a tie for first place in points we will do a CTP, winner takes the berth and loser is included in the next 6 in points.
If anybody declines a berth or the chance at a berth we will move down the list to fill any spots as needed.
You have 10 weeks of golf left to rack up as many points as you can. See you next Wednesday!
