We are already paying $5 just to enter with 100% payout. The bowling alley does not charge us to use the room because their return is on the food and liquor sales. The night allows each person to play a minimum of 4 horseshoe style games. Those who win the most games gets put into an elimination bracket. Many times there are playoffs to make the final 8. The brackets are a single game elimination however, there are always the losers games where the teams play to see who gets 3rd and 4th place cash. When we get to 48 players for example, we pay out 10 spots so more playoff games have to be played to see who gets the last cashing spots. Its weird but those who finish in the lower spots or are not top seeded actually play more than the night's eventual winners. That and all the beer makes for a lot of good practice with people having fun. This past Monday we were putting with tunes on the radio while having beer brought to us and watching Monday Night Football. Whodathunkitpossible?
