I went to Riley yesterday, and they have now moved all the baskets to their new permanent spots. #1 is in the trees 360' straight down the path, #4 is way left in a little gap in the trees (about 225' from the tee), and the new #9, #10, and #11 all have their baskets now (and they are all tough 3's at 502', 266' uphill, and 402' respectively). They have nice new maps with all the distances. If you are interested in these developments, make plans to play next weekend.
I was also thinking we should finalize plans for that road trip to Beatrice, NE, some of us have been talking about. I don't go to K-State football games, so that is not a conflict for me. I can't go this coming weekend, or October 21-22, but other than that, I'm free. It's a really fun course, just a little more than an hour north of Manhattan. We may hit a course in Lincoln as well.
