An Email just went out....
I just wanted to give everyone one last update before the event. The courses are all set up and ready to go. Tee pads are marked with marking flags that are labeled with the hole number. We did our best to move tee locations to dryer locations and those that had snow, we shoveled the snow off. I attached a picture I took this evening out on the course. There is snow, but it is absolutely playable and is still beautiful! With the snow I would recommend sunglasses. It was extremely bright with the sun shining and reflecting off the snow. The layouts can be found on udisc, but you have to actually do a search by typing in "Schneiter's Bluff Front" course. There you will find the 2023 east and west layouts which is what we are using. Keep in mind that we have moved some baskets/tee pads to accommodate for the snow, so distances and exact udisc locations will be off. Look for the marking flags when going to the next tee.
With the snow, the Golf Greens will NOT play as OB and the Bunkers/Sand Traps will not play as hazard. There also are large puddles of standing water in places on the course (not to be confused with the actual ponds). These puddles will play as casual relief. This means there will be some serious scoring opportunities out there. The caddy book is linked below and the same hole descriptions will be listed on PDGA live. The gates to the course will open around 7:20 and we will plan to start check-in at 7:30. make sure to be in front of the clubhouse at 8:30 for the MANDATORY PLAYERS MEETING. This is where we will share any info needed if the conditions change at all. I have attached the first email of info below for anyone who didn't see it. See you all tomorrow!
