I'm new to ALL this. My son (he/him, 11yrs, born 2013) and I (he/him, 41, born 1983) would like to play. I believe I should sign-up for the MA40. Will there by anything for my son? Jan 31

As noted by Angelica, your son could join MJ18 if they're hoping to play with other juniors. The other option wound be joining a "MA" division appropriate to their skill level.
You do have the option to play MA40 based on your age; MA40 will play the White layout for round 1 and the Red layout for round 2. Like your son, you may also join a "MA" division appropriate to your skill level.

No worries at all. Thanks for joining us! I can make sure you two are on the same card for round 1. However, I reshuffle groupings for round 2 based on performances from round 1, so there's no guarantee you'll be placed together for the second round. Hope that's okay!
