Is this a Temp Course at the Park? I’m trying to find the course on UDisc to get a feel for how long the holes will be. Asking for a noodle arm friend of mine.
As an out-of-towner I got confused with that last year. On UDisc the course is called “Springwood Players Course” in Whitsett, NC. There is a layout called “SPC Open 9” that was used last year. The distance on the course isn’t too long…I had a lot of fun.
From what I remember of last year, there is one short temp hole added between 1 and 2. Hole 10 was an island hole, but I can't remember if you had to retee or if there was a drop zone. There is OB on holes 2, 3, 4, 5, and 14. Nothing too long. 7 is the longest but it's a par 4.
15, 16, and 17 also have OB.
This years layout will feature some alternate tees, a couple of mandos, added OB and an alternate pin or two. Distance wise it'll fit in between the shorts and long layout and should be fun for all skill levels.
We will have it finalized by 11/14
