9/9 on drives again this year for Mixed? I thought it was a great addition last year-- made for some really great competition!
Not this year. No other division does that format.
ah that is a shame. I thought it did a good job last year to force teams to strategize and include both players instead of just leaning on the men, who are generally rated 100+ points above their partners.
The feedback I got was it put too much pressure on some of the ladies, whi just wanted to play and have fun.
I agree with Kyle. The 9/9 was actually really cool last year and made for really good strategy and balanced out so teams couldn’t just rely only on the men. Maybe for half the rounds that could be a thing?
