Thank you all for signing up for the A Robbin and a Bear at the Creek III - Sponsored by Dynamic Discs for Bear Creek DGC's second PDGA event! We bring this event back after a tremendous showing from the community last year. This event has an almost full field with tee times from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. A HUGE shoutout to the Town of Robbins for allowing us to host this event once again at their beautiful course. They have done a phenomenal job with upgrades and upkeep of the course since last year, and they have ensured to continue this in the future!
Important Notes:
- 1-Round, FLEX Start Event
- This event will use PDGA Live Scoring with the code BEAR3 - pdga.com/score
- There is limited parking at this course so it is recommended that people car pool if possible to this event. This will help with congestion in the parking lot and on the single car driveway into the parking lot. PLEASE ARRIVE NO LESS THAN 15-MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR TEE TIME. This ensures that we do not run into an issue of tee times starting late, and causing back ups along the course near the starting holes.
- The RCDGG will have a plethora of Richmond County Disc Golf Group apparel, past tournament discs, and other miscellaneous items for sale at the check-in tents throughout the morning. We will accept Venmo, Cash, or PayPal as payment if anyone is interested.
Players Packs and Pro Payout:
- All AM's will receive a tournament stamped premium plastic disc and $5 in Lucky Bucks to Lucky Disc Golf via email. There are a variety of molds that will be available, as well as past tournament discs to select from if none of the discs tickle your fancy from the new selection of A Robbin and a Bear at the Creek III discs
- MPO payouts will be paid through PAYPAL within 24 hours of the conclusion of the tournament.
Ace Pot:
- The Ace Pot currently sits at $210 for the event. If no ace is hit then $100 will roll over to the next RCDGG Tournament, $50 will go towards our Disc Golf for Good Tournament in April, and the remaining $60 will be distributed to SIX players selected by random draw who will receive $10 OTB Gift Cards via email.
Layout:
- The course layout will use a combination of short and long tees within the course. All OB's, which includes the reservoir, and the pathway on the in-between Holes 1 and 18, and 2 and 17, as well as casual water notes will be listed within the PDGA live scoring app/website so please pay attention to these notes as you play.
