Last night of league for Champoeg Dubs driven by All Day Disc Golf is
Pump up the volume and give yourself plenty of headroom, the last chance summer dance is near, and the mission for birdies is really quite clear. Tomorrow will end the 2024 season for the Champoeg flock but there is still plenty of opportunity to shine. The top 20 players are not set in stone and the final position will be decided soon. Will Dallas Garber DG hold on to his 1 point lead over 3x champ Conner Williams? Will Brad Hummel find nothing but chains all night and slide up from the 3rd seat? The 2024 Founders Cup winner will be an exciting finish to see. And what about the few fighting for a spot above the line? There are a handful of people within striking distance and hot round tomorrow could seal the deal. Best get out there to flick your wrist and deal the disc. Them birdies will not get themselves!
We are playing a 19 hole layout to finish the season. All short pads, all night, all out birdie blitz (just like the last few seasons final week). With fading visibility and cloud cover in the forecast daylight will be at premium and we will need to start early. 5:20pm sign ups will end. Come out and make it happen. This season has be near perfect and we have one night left to put the icing on the cake.
The big finale is in 10 days, some be prepared and bring you 'A' game. Lots of cash, prizes, trophies, and food for all. Saturday August 31st. Tee off at around 10:15am. If you are not in the Top 20 there is the Best of the Rest bracket with 12 cash prizes and a trophy for the winner. You just need to have played 3 weeks of league. We will also be giving out the 3 Turkey Ticket Treasurse. A Black Hole MVP basket ( thank you Matt Bailey!) , a Mojoh Riser (thank you Dustin Hobbs, Brian Shaw and Mojoh Gear) and a Rovic Cart ( thank you Jesse Tomaino and All Day Disc Golf!) The finale will be epic. See you out there.
