Champoeg Dubs driven by All Day Disc Golf, 5:20pm sign ups end tonight
The time is near so don't delay, bring your discs and will to play. Champoeg Dubs is on the horizon and the excitement can be felt from West Linn to Dundee. We have 3 weeks left of this magical season so make the time, and find your line, a disc golf destiny is in your future.
The leaderboard is lit up, so you better get up, and snag some birdies to compete with the top guns. These freelancing fairway frocklickers are feeling the frenzy and flying free, and the scores are so far under par they need a ladder to find even ground. So come on out and play, you will not regret it!
We all know how important those short pads can be to knock that score down a bit. The question is, how badly do you want to earn a short pad? Would you give up something to guarantee a short pad? Would you be willing to play a hole 'Alternate Shot' to give your team a short pad of choice? I think you all know where this is going....... Tonight we play a new gimmick called, '1 in the Bank, Short Pad Style'. See rules below -
"If you and your partner declare before teeing off
that you are going to play the next hole alternate shot,
you have earned 1 short pad in the future, no matter the
score from the alternate shot hole. A short pad player
earns 1 mulligan to be used on the short pad hole that is
played. Do this as often as you like, but you can only
have, 1 in the bank AS A TEAM! Use strategy, if your
team has a short pad player let them go first on
an alternate shot hole? Or not...
Alternate shot is when you play a hole as a team but you alternate throwers for each throw for the entire hole. Your score reflects total # of throws on that hole. A Cali player can declare an alternate shot hole and then play a hole without use of the cali throws to earn a short pad."
