We have 27 holes at Bijou, then a drive, and 18 holes at Zephyr Cove, (a demanding course). Or vice versa. So we chose 8 am start times.
Thank you for keeping it earlier. Anyone who played the Tahoe Pro/Am will appreciate the earlier start, we don't need to be finishing at 7pm on Friday. These are going to be long days, the earlier the better.

When I signed up I specifically looked at the start time because I didn't want the extra expense of a hotel. I have played King of the Lake 3 times back in the day when it was 3 courses in one day and we finished in the dark every time because it was badass and that's what we did so I know all about long days of disc. So I am out an extra $88 and I will still have fun but I wish the PDGA would put a limit on last minute changes like this because it really isn't good practice.
I apologize, Nancy! My mistake with the original 9:00 start time. My staff corrected me. I will not wait to be penalized by the PDGA. I will bann myself from running future events indefinitely....
Sounds like a fitting punishment. ???? The original start time was one of my deciding factors for me with this tournament is all. Not a huge change, but significant for me. And for this to be the second tournament changing so close to the start, it is just frustrating. Of course the mansplaination of how a tournament works was nice too. You guys do an amazing job. I can't imagine how you pull this off. When we did Truckee/Zephyr/Bijou in one day that was King of the Lake. This format is more like King of the TDs! Thanks for the hard work. I will piss and moan a bit, but I have a great time too.
