I looked to book a room at the host hotel but I could not find anywhere if it is refundable. When you call their reservation desk, they are clueless and no nothing about the event and when I called the direct number, it would ring once and hang up. Can anyone help me out with this please?

I was able to get through the direct phone number and tried to get to the front desk, but had to leave a message. When I did talk to the reservations people, they quoted my like $1,500. Like I said, no one has informed them of the sponsorship. I suppose it would work fine if you just booked directly ... more

Thanks Scott, I already had that link. No where could I find anything that talked about refundable or not. Sure would love an answer from any of the event staff in the know.

I did Trace. I'm staying at the host hotel but used their direct line. I think I'm paying a bit more but I know it is refundable and I extended my stay beyond what the discount rate allowed.
