I'm sure with proper prep this could be an "epic" disc golf tournament or event. We have a lot of awesome tournament directors in the WNCDGA and I'm sure someone would be interested in helping out. I also feel like only a single round played as a team of four most disc golfers will be left wanting more. River run is a pretty short course too. Maybe an optional second round or a finals round? I also like with adding divisions options, though interesting concept with teams of 4. Maybe just competitive vs casual? And I was looking into the sponsorship options too. Does sponsorship include entry for a team or teams? What is the difference between that and a business team? Thank in advance!

Thank you for your notes. They are very helpful! With this being our first Disc Golf Tournament, we are thankful for your comments as well as many other professionals in the field. As this is a joint effort with North Cove to create this fundraiser tournament, we will be in discussion with their team to see about adding the additional rounds for those who are interested! It is a casual tournament with the goal of fundraising for our efforts in Testicular Cancer Research with Atrium Health, but we are welcoming professionals to compete and help those who are novice in learning more in the sport. The Sponsor entry does include entry for a team if requested! The business team is for those looking to sponsor a team to compete with branding for their company included! We have spoken to Brent Miller, who is a professional in the sport as he gave us some very helpful advice as well. Once we have updated our event details with the updates that you and others have provided, we will let you know in hopes to hvae your support! We are working with North Cove to reach out to the the WNCDGA and other associations to gain their support as well!
We will also look into what we can do to encourage the competitive vs casual aspect as well that you mentioned! Thanks again!
Updated our details! Hopefully that answers everything! Please let us know if you have any questions, we'd love to have you!
