Hello everyone! I wanted to provide a quick update on course conditions as we are quickly approaching tournament season.
Park staff is working hard to get the course into tip top shape before your tournament practice rounds.
Holes 1-15 on the Albion Albatross have been mowed. Mowing activities will continue over the next few weeks.
Please note that with all the rain this season, the grass has been growing extra quickly while also limiting the days when the course is dry enough to be mowed.
The Operations team has also been down a mower which they are working to fix and get it back out on the course.
We ask that everyone have patience as the Albion Hills Disc Golf Courses get back to looking their best for the tournament!
We also want to remind everyone to sign up for the fun, unsanctioned doubles event on Friday, June 14, which is a fundraiser for the Toronto and Region Conservation Foundation and is a chance to earn some extra winnings!

Thankyou Cara. I'm looking forward to getting out there.
Can’t wait for both events!!
For some clarification, holes 1-5 were cut within this week, but 6,8,9,10 have certainly not been cut for a long time. The grass is above waist height making play very challenging.
The TRCA team is working hard to get a system setup for weekly maintenance.Thank you for everyone's patience. It's pretty amazing to consider that this course only formally launched a month ago!
Update - As of yesterday Monday June 3rd -Hole 1-5 play well. Holes 6, 9,10,11 have a 10' wide path mowed from teepad to basket. The fairways are definitely not being maintained properly yet. I really hope this is resolved ASAP - searching for your disk in knee to waist high grass on the fairway or circle 1 is brutal.
I played a practice round yesterday. Hole 6 has a fairway landing area but it is not visible from the teepad and the 250' carry over the rough will be an issue for shorter throwers. Hole 9 definitely needs a cutout for a landing area down to and around the corner at the bottom of the hill. It ... more

Hole 9 definitely needs a cutout for a landing area down to and around the corner at the bottom of the hill. It's unplayable without a spotter at this time. The rest of the course is tight and intimidating and looking awesome.
