We be just a few days away from this year's parley, and I 'ave a few more notes for ye.
1. Please find attached this year's map and notes for the Condor layout. All temporary tees and temporary basket locations have been marked at the course with orange flags. OB lines will be marked with flags in the coming days. If you go out to practice, beware of the sea monster in the lake.
2. Unfortunately, due to some of the rain we've gotten the last few weeks, Arvada has not been able to mow the course. Most of the lower area looks ok, but have spotters for thrown discs. With that said, I'd love volunteers with weed whackers to come out Thursday evening or Friday to clear some areas around tees and baskets. Priorities would be the silo hole, the tee area to the east of that by the electric pole (used by pros on Sunday), the temp basket after normal 6, the tee area for Perch 18, and the temp basket for Perch 6. Don't cut down the rabbit brush. I'm sure there are other areas, but any help would be appreciated. If you do some work, and I'm not there, let me know, so I can thank you.
3. Please thank and support our sponsors and others that have supplied player pack items for the Ams. First and foremost, our title sponsor Dynamic Discs. Our friends at Disc Revolution will be on site vending. Odyssey Beerwerks is supplying a player pack item (21+) for all pros as well, so stop by our table before or after the rounds. Mas Disc Golf printed our shirts for the ams.
Look for email #3 to come in the next couple days for a few more important notes.
