Course Layout for the event update. Mike and I were discussing what to do for the course. Him and I personally would like to have a full closure of the course so we could put some of the holes to the test. However, his bosses aren't quite set yet on allowing a full closure in the middle of the summer months. With that, we came up with a plan. Hole 1-6 will not be used for the tournament. They will remain open for the public to use and for tournament players to warm up on. We will be using holes 10-27 and 7-9 to create our 18 hole layout. With that, if we are able to show that we have the numbers of players registering to play, the bosses will allow the course to be closed for us for the next one. I am still working on the final course layout (adding mandos, OB/hazard lines, fun stuff), but I can tell you that the shorter holes will have some mods to them and there will be several par 4s.
What about fixing and replacing basket #9? Are they ever considering doing this? Have you discussed this with them? Thanks Josh!
I haven't discussed it in detail, but it has been brought up. Right now I will be using the temp one I had at the Meltdown. It will be in the same area too (in the trees) as the finishing hole from teepad 8 playing as a par 4.
