Hello fellow plastic enthusiasts. Never too early to get on the roster for Saturday disc golf. Venmo your money to James Robinson please.
Ice Bowl Recap:
Scores were the highest we've seen in 2024 by far. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the unlimited mulligans. Frank and Scott shot perfect -18s to tie for best score. Groves did it the boring way by scoring birdie on every hole. Frank started the round with a very unimpressive par on hole 4 and then decided to spice it up with the first shot ace on hole 1 (CTP hole as well). So to a playoff they headed. Both put there drives on hole 1 to about 10-15 feet. Bag on no brainer putts. They moved to hole 2 for the expected result. Frank threw first and came up a woeful 10 feet short. Scott flexed on Frank up by leaving his shot 20 feet short left. No biggie, bag off, focus, focus, focus, and ... clang. Sorry Scott, congrats Frank.
Major thank you to Bill for running a fun and engaging tournament. His style and enthusiasm running the event ensured everyone had a great time. I won't exactly directly say the raffle was rigged... but I had 55 tickets in there (rage mulligans are addictive) and I only won twice! But there were tons of sweet plastic and prizes given away to many smiling faces. We salute you Bill!
Ace pot for tomorrow's Wednesday Night Lights Dubs will be over $130. I tried my best to buy an ace Saturday, but maybe you can snag it tomorrow night on my behalf. Check-in by 6:15PM
