I see the Amateur field is already full before 2/11 4:00. So it appears that any Amateurs that want to play in this event must join the OMDGA every year. Maybe the LFDC should follow suit so the Omaha players would have to join our club to play in Lincoln's big tournaments.
I joined the OMDGA this year never got a code.
I agree! Sucks that a tournament would be full before regular registration is open to public!
I'm bummed sure, but i'm sure the powers that be will make it right. if not it's what it is
Please still sign up! IF we still have spots open we will be adjusting caps tomorrow!
good stuff
Waitlist it is...

Dear Mike,
We understand your frustration about not being able to register for the disc golf tournament due to it being filled by OMDGA members who had early access codes as part of their membership benefits. We recognize that it can be disappointing to miss out on an event you were looking forward to.
Firstly, we want to clarify that the decision to offer early access codes to OMDGA members was not made with the intention of excluding anyone. Rather, it was a decision made by the board members to further promote the benefits of club membership and to reward our loyal members for their support.
We understand that this may not have been communicated effectively, and for that, we apologize. We always strive to be transparent and inclusive in our decision-making processes. However, we also want to emphasize that the tournament directors are not responsible for this decision. They are dedicated volunteers who work hard to organize and run successful events for the disc golf community.
If you have any feedback or complaints regarding the early access code system, we encourage you to direct them to the board members. They are the ones responsible for making decisions regarding club policies and benefits.
Additionally, we want to express our interest in building a partnership, rather than a rivalry, with the Lincoln club. We believe that collaboration between our clubs can benefit both organizations and further promote the sport of disc golf in our community. We would encourage members of both clubs to consider joining each other's organizations to foster this spirit of cooperation and growth.
Once again, we apologize for any frustration or inconvenience this situation may have caused you. We value your passion for the sport and hope to see you at future events.
Sincerely,
Andrew Ahrendt (on behalf of the OMDGA board)
OMDGA vice president

Andrew Ahrendt & OMDGA Board: Great response! Thanks for understanding and your very professional explanation and clarification. I sincerely apologize that I expressed my frustration in such an abrasively poor comment. You have a well-established club and I’m confident Callie and Staff will put on a spectacular event. I am on the waitlist. And to help foster the cooperation and growth you mentioned, I will be taking your suggestion to join the OMDGA too.
Awesome Mike! Much appreciate your support.
