Hello, question. I just registered today in MA40. I’m 49 and turning 50 in 2024, am I in the correct division?

If that is where you want to be.Turning 50 any time in the year will qualify you for the MA50 division. Even if it was December 31st.

You would qualify for both MA40 and MA50. Just a personal decision on which one you would prefer

The year your birthday is in you can play that age protected division starting January 1st.

Say June of 24 you turn 50 you can play in the 50s starting1/1/24

Also know, since you're over 40 you can still play in that 40+ division, even if you also qualify for the 50+ division.
