Welcome to the 2023 Kick out the Yams
This will serve as the official players meeting and replace a in person meeting.
First off, we would like to thank our sponsors Discraft Discs for their ongoing support as well as Mike Kemp and Black Vinyl Discs. If anyone has any custom disc dying needs reach out to Mike on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/qotsarock86/?hl=en you will not be disappointed.
We will be utilizing PDGA live scoring for this event. You can access your score card at PDGA.com/score. Your access code will be yams23. Paper scorecards will be available as well. Second round will tee approximately 1 hour after last card in turned in for the first round. Please remember to digitally confirm and submit your scores promptly after your last hole.
There will be a CTP for both the 50/50 and ace pool throw off. If no aces are hit throughout the day the winner of the CTP will get the pot.
IMPORTANT NOTICE! The short pad on hole 13 was very slippery today. I have flagged both left and right of the pad for liberal play. You may play to either side if you do not feel safe using the pad. You must still tee within the flagged area.
We will be holding a raffle at this event to collect food donations for a local food pantry. Each nonperishable food item donation will get you one raffle ticket. Some of the items in the raffle include a chainstar lite, a grip bag, custom discs and more.
Some of the items in highest need include:
• Canned items used for chili
• Penne/Rotini pasta
• Ramen Noodles
• Mac and Cheese Cups
• Jelly
• Children cereal
• Cereal Bars
• Canned veggies and fruit
• Condiments
• Pull-tab soup and SpaghettiOs
