Good Morning Everyone and Happy Friday!
On behalf of Team Chain Therapy and the staff of Battle for Broadway I want to thank you all for taking the time and effort to preregister for this event. We know that you all have a wide array of events to choose from hosted by elite clubs and tournament directors from all over SW Michigan and Northern Indiana. We truly appreciated you choosing to spend your hard-earned money and time off with us.
My name is Joe Rutkowski and I am Co-Tournament Director with Josh Haigh. Should you have ANY questions or concerns today or tomorrow, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. I have been hosting events in the Michiana area since 2013 yet I have never been more excited than I am for tomorrow’s event. This PDGA sanctioned event is sponsored by Confluence Cannabis. I’m ecstatic to have the support from a local, small business that promotes mental health and wellness through cannabis products.
True to Team Chain Therapy’s core values, we are not hosting this event for quantity but quality and although I can have preventative measures in place, something always comes up. We are all human and make mistakes, we truly appreciate your patience with us when it’s our turn to make one.
Whether this is your 150th tournament or your first, you are now a part of our extended family. As a team we aim to support each other on and off the disc golf course. We understand that we all come from different walks of life but this great sport is what brings us all together.
Just some housekeeping things-
We WILL stay on time tomorrow. I’ll be at the pavilion by 7am to start check in. Right now the rain will be holding off through our first round and we may miss it all together. At 830 we’ll have a quick players meeting and start sending everyone out to their starting holes. As your Pool finishes the first round we’ll be totaling scores and sending you right back out to your final 9 so PLEASE DON’T PLAN ON GOING ANYWHERE IN BETWEEN ROUNDS. Come tomorrow morning prepared to stay until 2pm.
