All future Junior worlds should never be hosting another major event at the same time. It does not allow for a focus on either one. Key over these two years is that we had to travel large distances just to get to disc golf courses for all tiers.
Junior worlds should also be focused on making the event fun so even those out of contention get a great experience that isn’t just focused on play. Think of this event as a kid focused, entertainment draw that features a competition. When kids aren’t competing there is always something, none disc golf related, to do. I was thinking of this during the air quality day off. There should have been a movie shown at five points with a snack vendor provided. That’s just an example.
Thanks for the feedback Steven. Forwarding to the Majors Committee and Operations & Logistics Team.

Steven, thank you very much for the feedback. All of the courses at this event were a maximum of 35 minutes apart. As for the "fun" experience, at the end of the day, the competition still needs to be the most important thing about the event. We have to make sure the courses are marked properly, staffed properly, etc, before considering side events. With that in mind, your comment is duly noted. We did have activities every single day for the Juniors to give them a fun activity, but we know some were truncated due to weather. In terms of the air quality day off, it was impossible to plan anything because we were still hoping throughout the day to actually play disc golf. If we had tried to put on something during the day but then play suddenly resumed, it would have been challenging to get people to the course on time. Thank you for the suggestions!
Most likely Nate and his crew would not legally have the ability to show a movie as I doubt they would have the license to publicly show one.
