About half of the discs were picked up yesterday, and a few more today. Someone out there picked up two putters and a driver, instead of one putter, one mid-range, and one driver. Another person picked up two mid ranges. I would like to facilitate a meeting for the two of you to switch discs.
Yesterday we had a mini putting tournament using Birdie Bash rules. We had two winners:
• Ty Eldredge 7 points (Birdie Bash player)
• Ben Devoe 8 points (non Birdie Bash player)
• Honorable mention goes out to Trent Egbert with points as well, but Ty got an Ace on a harder hole that Trent. Note: We will use hole handicaps as tie breakers. If they are the same, we will have a marksman duel.
Tomorrow, Monday, June 26, there will be a 5:30-7pm pick up at the Beacon Hill park. We will have a small competition where you can play with your new discs. We will play normal disc golf rules (with a twist) to keep things a little safer for your discs. A separate competition category will exist for your friends that play with you who do not have the new MVP discs. A prize will be awarded to the lowest score for both Birdie Bash registrants and non-registered people.
