Guys, may I offer a suggestion? It is not a criticism by any means. Facebook has its evils, but the connection part is great. I am in touch with family, classmates, friends from my disc golf past and present....so many who would truly just be part of my past. You have an event page, but I don't know how many actually knew about it because not many posted going. Also, in the discussion tab, I don't see where players can post other than commenting on what you post. I, personally, would love it if we could communicate with one another. With tee times and live scoring, much of the camaraderie is absent now. With tee times, people aren't finishing at the same time, so there's no gathering at the end of a round or tournament and everyone just goes about their business. With live scoring, even with shotgun start, players don't have to go back to hq, so we don't see people from other cards to give us an opportunity to stop and shoot the pooky. The sport needs that back, IMO. Camaraderie, community and connection are very import to the sport, and we seem to be losing it. Players, please chime in. Anyone feel free to text me at 713-857-0406.
