The course will be open no later than 7am tomorrow. There will be a players' meeting at the SRDG tent by hole 1 at 8am, including a message from Wade Krett, board member of the Special Olympics of Alabama. Please make sure to check in before 8pm to grab your Flippy jersey. First round shotgun start will tee off at 8:30am. This round of 18 holes will be rated. The second round will be tee times starting around 1pm with MA4 and work up to MPO, playing 9 holes 1 2 5 6 7 8 9 10 11. This "second" round will not be rated. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers of each division after 27 holes. Payouts will be PayPaled to Open players based on their 27 hole finish. All pars, distance, and notes are on the PDGA scorecard, code is CCC. MA1 MP40 and MPO are the only divisions playing the blue layout. All other divisions will have some white baskets on about half of the holes at a shorter distance.
Cheeztah Chic Food truck will be present at lunch, and there is a close gas station that has sandwiches as well. Please check out the raffle we have going on and buy some tickets before 1pm! $1 per ticket or $10 for 12. Prizes will be available for pickup prior to the first MA4 card finishing. Please also see our sponsor signs out on the course and recognize them when you can. We will have Disc Crazy setup for items for sale as well. Finally, there are restrooms and refreshments inside by hole 18 basket, and a porta potty on hole 2/17.
