Thank you again for your support of our new Sadie Hawkins Women's Tournaments. Unfortunately, we have not seen an uptick in participation since my last email, so we are making the decision to cancel the Spring Formal tournaments at Rampart on May 21. You should be seeing your refunds hit your accounts in the next few days, but please reach out to me if you have not received your money back by week's end. We will also not be producing the tournament jerseys.
We are going to try again on July 15 at Adams Hollow. The sanctioned women's main event will be two shotgun rounds, and there will be a single-hole ace challenge "dance" during lunch (stepping away from the robust logistics requirements of the $5/$10K). Female players and their invitees can buy in to the ace challenge at $5 a throw (minimum 3 throws and maximum 18). Full details can be found on our series page.
Thank you for supporting this effort as we attempt to get this series off the ground and running! First and foremost, these events are aimed at bringing more women into organized disc golf in Colorado, so please help us spread the word, and we look forward to seeing you in July!
