I do also believe that MJ18 has almost twice as many invites compared to MJ15. Huge debacle last year with a few top rated kids not getting in, hence tier 1 invites and also the crew running junior worlds made huge changes this year to expand the field. Imagine if it was still at 72 people only in each.
Hi Roderic. There are two primary reasons MJ18 has more spots than 15s. First, anyone who is eligible to play 15 is also eligible for 18 while the opposite is not the case. Secondly, there are 1013 MJ18 invitees compared to 499 for MJ15.
