2 items I'm hoping to have addressed:
1) There seems to be a separate way to purchase tickets via Eventbrite (via DGPT website) that has almost identical options and # of tickets being sold for each category. Yet the admission passes on this platform vs Eventbrite don't appear to be linked, based on # of available tickets remaining in each category.
2) Can someone expound upon exactly what I gain access to if I want to watch MPO with general admission round 3? I understand that it would be tournament central/GA areas. However, these don't seem to be illustrated on the 2022 Northwood spectator map. That map shows some VIP viewing spots but doesn't seem to indicate any GA areas. Hole #'s would be helpful in this thread. Thank you :)
Just like what a lot of things in sports, you can purchase tickets on Eventbrite or DGS, they are the same thing. We do not have any of the information on GA access for Northwood yet, but it will be similar to last year. Anything that is not a specific VIP viewing area will be available for GA viewing.
I appreciate the response. Since you said it will be similar to last year, will you list the hole #s at Northwood that general access had access to last year? I'm not super familiar with the course layout, particularly for spectating purposes, so that will at least give me a general idea that I can use for planning purposes this year. Thanks!
Brad, we will not have that information until a few weeks before the event. The main idea is, GA will have less viewing opportunities than VIP.
Right, that makes sense. I'm not holding you to it or anything; I understand things change from year to year. But if you could list what holes were viewable for GA in 2022 or how many holes were viewable in 2022, that could help me figure out my own Saturday itinerary and where I'm staying overnight that evening. Thanks!
Brad, we are still working through plans in 2023, and those could change dramatically from 2022, so we won't be able to provide any more info at this time.
Sounds good. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond and what you do for the sport. Your interviews with Ultiworld, etc. are always quite enlightening. Good luck with everything :)
