January Poker Game Finale and February Poker Game Details
Week 9 finished off our second monthly Poker game with another 21 players in and a pot of $105 on the line!!!
The format was a 5 Card Draw with Wilds, with each week having 6 Wild cards in the deck. The Wilds were drawn the first week and stayed the same throughout the entire game. In addition to the two Jokers, Red Queens (Diamonds and Hearts) and Black 4s (Clubs and Spades) were Wild Cards for each weekly draw. Since cards are refreshed each week, there was 6 possible Wild Cards to be drawn each week.
Surprisingly, with this many Wild Cards, the best hand only ended up being Trip Aces with a Queen Kicker by Kyle K. He takes the monthly pot of $105 for January. Congrats!!!

The final monthly Poker Game begins this week!!! The buy in will be the same $1 weekly entry. But with only 4 weeks remaining, I'd like to make the final entry $2 to keep the total entry at $5 like with previous months. Cards will be tentatively drawn for any regulars absent tonight and they will have a chance to buy in at their next time at league.
The format for this final game will be a Texas Hold Em style game. For Week 1 and 2, each entrant will get a card. Before the Week 3 Player draw, a "Flop" will be drawn of 3 Community Cards. These cards will stay static for the remainder of the monthly game and not be redrawn each week. Players will then get another card in Week 3 and 4. The "Flop" will be used along with your cards from Weeks 1-4 to create the best possible 5 card Poker hand (with 7 cards in play). The best hand will win the pot at the end of the month.
