Week 8 continues the January Poker Game with the 4th draw. There are 21 official buy-ins, leaving the pot at $105. 3 Wild Cards were drawn this week, making it 9 drawn in the 4 weeks of the game. Wild Cards are refreshed with the deck each week meaning there are 6 total available to be pulled for each weekly draw.
The format is a 5-Card poker game, with Wild Cards that have been preselected. and will remain "Wild" throughout the entire month. 6 cards will be "Wild" for each weekly draw. The Wild Cards will be:
Jokers (2 total)
Red Queens (2 total)
Black 4s (2 total)
The 5 cards each player gets will be their final hand and the best Poker hand will take the entire pot. This coming week will be the final draw for January. After the final draw, the best hand wins. From what I can see there is about 5-7 possible winners based on this final draw. So anything can happen.
Cards will be selected by order of finish each week, using the previous weeks score. That means for the remaining draws the order will be:
Week 2: Lowest to Highest Score for Week 1
Week 3: Highest to Lowest Score for Week 2
Week 4: Lowest to Highest Score for Week 3
Week 5: Highest to Lowest Score for Week 4
Using the previous week's scores will allow us to complete draws before the end of the evening and will occur during rounds 2 and 3.
I will have print outs each week for your current hands and you can see them when requested. The goal is to not know other hands, so each individual will have their own personal sheet with their current hand.
