This year our Ice Bowl qualifies for the PDGA CEP Program... meaning all of the normal PDGA fees passed down to players in registration fees will instead be donated to the Southern Maryland Food Bank. That includes the $2 per player fee, and the $10 non-pdga member fee. Pre-registered players are getting a crazy good player pack: Innova Ice Bowl Stamped driver, Mini, and lapel pin. With functional trophies, CTPs, and unlimited on-demand mulligans for money (that's right... go ahead and PAY TO WIN... the hungry thank you!) we're doing as much as we can to help fight hunger in our area.
Lastly, too many of us, myself included, take for granted that some players in our region may be struggling to put food on the table, and find playing in this event too intimidating.
