Welcome to Rocket Disc Golf Challenge 2022. RDG is very excited to be hosting this tournament again this year!
This is a PDGA sanctioned C-Tier 2 round event. All players are expected to abide by PDGA rules and to enforce those rules if they see a violation.
Check in is from 8:15am-9:15am. Your player pack will be 1 custom stamp RDG Discraft disc, and 1 RDG 2021-2022 t-shirt or 1 2022 Chain Don’t Break t-shirt.
Round 1 will tee at 9:30am and round 2 will tee 1 hour after the completion of round 1.
MA1 and MPO will be playing from the blue tees (this is subject to change since there is only 1 MA1 player registered after online registration has closed). ALL other divisions will be playing from the red tees.
We will be utilizing PDGA live scoring for this event. Please make sure to have a backup scorecard as well. The backup can be on PDGA live, UDisc, or a paper scorecard.
All OBs are described on PDGA live. If you have any questions about OBs, contact the TD.
If you are unsure about an OB or rule, play a provisional. Provisionals are a valuable tool to help the players.
Cash ace pool CTP will be on hole 8. If no ace is hit during the tournament, then 50% of the ace pool will pay out to the ace pool CTP winner and 50% will go to RDG. Do NOT move the CTP flag unless you are paid in the ace pool. The CTP flag will remain on hole 8 for BOTH rounds.
Cash CTP will be on hole 9. There will be a CTP winner from round 1 AND round 2. Do NOT move the CTP flag unless you are paid in the CTP pool. The last card to play hole 9 in both rounds should pick up the flag and return it to the TD.
We will be raffling 3 awesome prizes from our tournament sponsors, Gripeq and GRIP6. The raffle will take place after the completion of round 2 and before awards. You can buy those tickets all day long! $3 for 1 ticket, $5 for 2 tickets, or $10 for 5 tickets.
Feel free to reach out to me, Mark Dembowski, if you have any questions at 419.276.4475
We are looking forward to seeing everyone on the course. Thank you for your support and GO ROCKETS!!!
