Anything special I can/should do to ensure having a cart for Saturday? My girlfriend will be with me for the first round, and I’d even pay a little extra to ensure we can get a cart.

That is a possibility. Usually we do players only on the carts. If the event does not fill, it would be more likely. I'll get info on this for ya.

If there are extra carts available day of (most likely) you can rent an extra cart for spectators.
